HISTORIC TRAINS

Can nostalgic revelries become real? Yes, it is possible on certain days at CFK when you can see trains from all periods running on the network.

You’ll be able to see the blue Rheingold TEE passing a freight train with its grey K2 wagons and its double-barrelled and side-panel wagons dating partly from the 19th century. Equipped with rapid three-axle wagons, a veteran of the Gothard Pass crosses the Landi locomotive, which today can be admired only at the Swiss Transport Museum.

Several other famous trains hauled by steam locomotives climb the slopes to complete this retrospective of railway history.

In 2012, these trains will run during the whole month of SEPTEMBER.
