The entire network is imaginary. However, both the landscape and the workings of the railway have been studied closely to ensure that the Swiss experience is reproduced as faithfully as possible.

Built on three levels on a scale of 1:87, the network comprises 2045 metres of track. Four railway lines operate in the Kaeserberg mountain region, managed by three companies: the CFF (Swiss Federal Railway), the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) and the KBB (Kaeserberg Railway).

Bearing witness to the Swiss rail system of the 1990s, the Kaeserberg Railway is to the Kaeserberg what the Saint-Gothard railway is to the pass of the same name.

And the mountain would not be what it is without a certain Willy Kaeser, departed too soon from this world, who shared the founder’s passion...
